Rides & Events
We're really lucky. Here in Allegheny County, we have nine county parks and more than 200 miles of bicycle-friendly trails. From terrain suitable for beginners at Boyce Park and Hartwood Acres to hilly, curvy trails for experienced riders at North Park (to name a few), there is something for every cyclist in the Pittsburgh area. We're proud to be partnered with many of the excellent organizations that support cycling in our region - please check them out and visit us to learn more.
This organization is awesome. Formerly known as Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group (PTAG), Trail Pittsburgh is our local chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA). They focus on multi-use trails for today, tomorrow, and well into the future. If you’ve explored our region’s incredible trails, you’ve experienced and enjoyed their work. Check out their website to get involved, find local trail information, and much more.
PA Interscholastic Cycling League
PICL is a youth development organization that uses mountain biking to inspire healthy lifestyles, build strong communities, and teach respect for the environment. They empower youth through mountain biking, and we're proud to partner with them to support park stewards and local races, including the Boyce Big Ring mountain bike race. Visit their website and help us support youth mountain biking in our area.
